Realistically that means it would make more sense for it to be a Warhammer 3 announcement so that people who see the trailer and are curious would try out the first two games. And a dlc would likely only encourage the second game being free rather than both. The people who are hyped about a dlc tend to already have the game. However, what's strange is that both 1 and 2 are free and I find it tough to believe that a dlc is meant to encourage people to get the games.
Often times free weekends are made in order to encourage people to buy the game after seeing some form of content update.
